Since 1993 I work in clay. I use to start from stoneware which I change
with chamotte, and sometimes sawdust and straw. The final surface on the
sculpture can be quite raw, stonewareglazed or raku fired. I find the
clay very living and a positive material to work with. During the work I
search for simplicity.
Just like life changes, my sculptures vary over time. Through the years
I have alternating worked with human sculptures and more abstract
shapes.
My language is the shape and the colour. By that language I want to
mediate thoughts about the human soul and its bodylanguage and about
natur.
